CfgTracker is a modern Microsoft technologies-based web-applicaation for project management task management and time-recording as well as resource-planning extended with financial functions and analytical tools; - from the micro-organizations to the enterprises - for any company-size. Beside using the program as an internal system, it can be used optionally as a client-portal or support system too.

Main properties.

Functions.

  1. Localization. Multi-language display. The system is accessible currently in English and Hungarian languages. Further localizations can be created easily without programming knowledges – by the users too. The localization files are Microsoft Excel based.
  2. Globalization. Multiple own-company and site management options.
  3. CRM functions.
    Employees and corresponding titles, subcontractors and freelancers handling on company and on location-levels.
    Clients (companies and private persons, customers and vendors) plus contacts management.
    Web access for clients optionally.
  4. Project and task management.
    Projects, tasks, project teams, task teams, responsible persons and deadlines.
    Project and task descriptions, specification editor and user-defined HTML templates.
    Project types, task types, statuses and priorities handling.
    Project and task-dependent automatic e-mail notifications to the responsible person, to the team and to the client in case certain events fired. (E.g.: project status has been changed.)
    Actual to-dos, own projects and tasks on user-level.

  8. Foreign trade. Multiple currencies and daily exchange rates, automatic currency exchange rate updater service usage option. (Hungarian National Bank -based.) Own currency handling on company-level, currency-dependent clients, projects and tasks. Automatic exchanges and LCY value calculations.
  9. Charts, reports, analysis. Searchable, filterable, pageable, sortable, groupable list views, including the options of specifying custom, user-defined compound query conditions too. Project and task efficiency analysis, client and project ranking/classification based on spent and invoiceable times and profit. Contract and time-and-material type settlement support. Interactive, zoomable and filterable charts are available. The software can also be extended with further charts and reports, on basis of individual requirement. Furthermore, the system's database is also compatible Microsoft PowerBI report creator program. With its help, end-users can create custom reports and charts by themselves; on graphics user-interface, without programming knowledges. Furthermore, the datasets can also be exported from the system into Excel format (with appropriate permissions). Thus, Microsoft Excel -based data analysis and charts can also be created.
  10. Document management. Employee and project contracts, subcontractor contracts, invoices, proof of performances, specifications, etc. documents, files can be uploaded into the system related to companies, users, clients, projects and task pages.
  11. Display. The application is currently available with „Bootstrap” and „Metro” inbuilt themes. The display is responsive.
  12. Permission management. Role-based, company-dependent, easily configurable, transparent and well-scalable permission management system. Read, create, update, delete, execute, export, import, etc. permissions are configurable for data-sources, functions, reports. Custom, user-defined roles can also be created.
  13. Customization. User-level and custom settings. (E.g.: language and theme – personal settings, 2-factor authentication option, custom list views, permission-dependent dashboard and menu system, etc.) Company dependent settings. (E.g.: currency, currency exchange rates, automatic currency exchange rate loading, change-tracking, etc.) Application-instance-level configuration options. (E.g.: Enabling to send automatic e-mail notifications, enable to use forgot password function, captcha function, etc., GDPR compliance, document management related settings.)
  14. Data migration, IO. Microsoft Excel support. The data can be easily exported into Microsoft Excel format and additionally, they can also be imported from Microsoft Excel files in specific formats – with appropriate permissions. This latter feature can make the initial data-migration fast and simple.
  15. Integration, data-connection. The system can be easily integrated with invoicing, ERP, CRM and document management systems. (The program currently has real-time data-connections to GIS2, NAVISION, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP systems.)
  16. Audit log. The system automatically stores the last modifier id and modification date in all cases. Additionally, the system automatically logs the status, responsible, due date, invoiceable, invoiced fields value changes of projects and tasks in all cases. Furthermore, full logging functionality is also available and configurable for projects and tasks.
  17. Security. (Including, but not limited to.)
    The accessibility of program can be restricted to private and internal networks optionally.
    The program and its database can also be hosted from chosen servers and beside the application of own (custom) configurations. Therefore, the database can remain within own hand.
    The application is based-on modern Microsoft programming technologies, standards and design-patterns.
    The program is protected against the code-injection type attacks, like e.g.: HTML, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
    The program has inbuilt features against resource exhaustion type attacks.
    The program is protected against Cross-site request forgery, CORS, Clickjacking, etc. type attacks.
    HSTS is configurable.
    The program is protected against automatic (bot-type) authentication attempts.
    User account protection related features, like e.g.: password-strength policy, password-expiration, password encryption, time-lock, auto-lock-out, 2-factor authentication, audit-log, etc. are available.
    Sensitive information (passwords, connection strings, etc.) are stored in encrypted format.
    TDE real-time database encryption is also applicable for the system's database.
    The business logic of software and the source-codes are protected by obfuscation technology.
    Software update service is available for the solution optionally, as an additional service.

Pricing.

The software license is exclusively number of user-dependent. (There are no named user-based or device-based restrictions.) Furthermore, the software can be both hosted from client's local environment (as self-hosted) or from cloud environment too, optionally. It can be used via localhost, intranet or internet too.

Currency and license type can be changed with the help of dropdown lists. The unit price information will be updated automatically.
In case of "Subscription" type license, the invoicing will be performed with monthly frequency.
